On Monday 14th April, The Wardrobe in Leeds was buzzing with excitement, anticipation, and pure creative energy as Act4tv proudly showcased 10 short films at its 2025 Film Fest. The atmosphere was electric – a real celebration of talent, storytelling, and the boundless possibilities of screen work.

From the very first frame to the final credits, the audience was treated to an inspiring range of stories – all written, acted, and directed by the incredible Act4tv community. Each piece was a testament to the passion, skill, and dedication of emerging creatives determined to make their mark in the industry. There was laughter, there were tears – and most importantly, there was connection.

A huge shoutout goes to the film production legends at Avengers Media, whose jaw-dropping camera work and slick editing elevated every story to cinematic heights. Their top-tier kit and post-production magic gave each short a professional polish that lit up the big screen.

And none of this would be possible without the unwavering support and vision of Michael Jackson, whose drive to create meaningful opportunities for students continues to shape careers and open doors. His commitment to nurturing talent is the very heartbeat of Act4tv, and Monday night was a reflection of just how far that heart reaches.

Special thanks to Joe Birmingham, who captured the magic of the evening perfectly – his photography immortalises not just the event, but the spirit of the Act4tv family.

To everyone who came, supported, performed, directed, wrote, filmed, or simply cheered from the sidelines – thank you. Film Fest 2025 reminded us all that when creativity, community, and a bit of camera wizardry collide, anything is possible.

If you weren’t there… trust us, you’ll want to be next time. 🎥💥
